PERISKOP (2001)
Water pipes, mirror, revolving steel scaff olding
Looking through the periscope, the right eye sees ahead with the correct perspective. Simultaneously, the left eye perceives an upside-down image behind it.
If the periscope is turned, the brain can no longer process the contrary images, and a dizzy sensation sets in. This work was made for the ”Hasenbergl” exhibition. |
